Pastor Ron Sondergaard – is a Sonoma County native who grew up in the Sebastopol area. Hearing the gospel from an early age and observing the godly example of his parents, he understood his need for a personal relationship with Christ. Although he was told that he had trusted Christ for salvation earlier, when Ron was eight, he made sure of his salvation. His desire to help others live for God with all their hearts led him to Bob Jones University where he earned degrees in church music and biblical counseling. Pastor Ron has a burden for church planting in towns all across 
California, and following this leading, came to Grace Baptist Church, where he began serving as associate pastor in 2016. Pastor Ron filled this role, leading the song services as well as often preaching, from then until early 2021. Following the passing of Pastor Tim Brower, Pastor Ron was voted in to be the full-time pastor of Grace Baptist Church. Pastor Ron and his wife Sarah extend a warm welcome to all – both frequent attendees and first-time visitors.
